Private Editing

I’m in the business of making your business successful

For the photographers:

  • who are spread too thin and just can’t do it all;
  • who refuse to let their turn-around times disappoint;
  • that should be focusing on growing their business;
  • that wish they could clone themselves (a few times!!);
  • and the ones that would rather spend time living their lives instead of sitting in front of a screen for hours on end…

Your solution has a starbucks addiction, an eye for detail, and is only a few clicks away!

Efficiency is an intelligent investment.

Outsourcing your editing is:

freeing you from the tedious, repetitive tasks of editing that take away from more productive ways you could be spending your time.

Working with a private photo editor is:

developing a relationship with a single individual, so that you can confidently expect:

  • consistent performance;
  • adaptations to your feedback on future projects, and
  • a familiar process that expedites your workflow.

Which, will in turn:

Build a sense of trust, so that outsourcing your photo editing is only nerve-wracking the first time.

since this process is about reducing your stress, you can trust that:

  1. I make this process as simple and straightforward as possible, and;
  2. I put my heart and soul into making sure my end product is exactly what you would have produced yourself, and;
  3. I welcome criticism after I complete each catalog, so that my future work for you is dialed-in to your exact needs.

Since the relationships I build with my clients are based on quality, I am only able to take on a limited number of photographers per year. Should my schedule be full, I will be happy to recommend another editor that I trust.

so, how will outsourcing with me work?

    1. You select the Lightroom Catalog that requires editing. (Ideally you have an appointment for this work already booked into my Catalog Calendar.)
    2. You edit a handful of images out of this catalog to your liking, (these are usually the photos you would send to your clients for a sneak-a-peek, post on social media, and would prioritize editing anyway) and flag these finished photos for me as “anchor images”.
    3. You compress the catalog according to the instructions I provide, and send it to me using my WeTransfer page
    4. I edit the catalog to match the anchor images that you’ve already completed and flagged, then return the files to you via a WeTransfer link so you can review them and forward them on to your very impressed and extremely grateful client. (If you have scheduled your catalog into my Catalog Calendar, your finished catalog will be delivered within 1 – 3 days from your appointment date. If you are submitting catalogs without an appointment, I will provide you with a completion date within 1 – 3 days based on when I can fit your catalog into the queue.
    5. You spend your free time blogging or networking to further grow your business OR relaxing with family/friends/your dog/a good book to preserve your sanity!
